Scientists have long touted it’s potential as an ideal storage medium.Besides being dense and easy to replicate, it is stable over millennia. It will have to get a lot cheaper to predictably read, write, and package. Which is still a challenge. A lot of work is in progress on this regarding data storage. Most important, as a matter of fact, it could store all of the world’s data in one room.
